Golden Jubilee 2009 - 10

September 2009 marks the 50th Anniversary of the school's opening on the
Oakwood Park Campus. To mark the occasion we are planning a host of special
events for all members of the school's community, past and present; students,
parents, staff, governors and supporters.

The following celebrations are planned:
• Re-dedication of the school by the Archbishop of Canterbury
• A Dinner for all "Friends" of OPGS - 26th September 2009
• A cultural visit to Cuba – Easter 2010
• A multi-sports Tour to South Africa – Summer 2010
• The writing and publication of the school's history
• A Sportsman's Dinner
• A Gala Concert
• Commemorative tree planting
• Time capsule planting
The celebrations will be co-ordinated by Miss Morgan, Senior Teacher. If you
